Clear step by step process listed and demonstrated. Recording included. Thankful for that. Answered questions about anything from the process to marketing. Thanks for the tips! The only thing that remains is practice on my part. Looking forward to taking another class.

Loved every minute of it, I felt like I was right there in the studio with him. I'm looking forward to more online workshops in the future, and would highly recommend anyone looking to learn his technique to jump at these, they truly are fantastic!!!

I really enjoyed the workshop. The first time since high school where I got to work along side a teacher and focus solely on techniques. I followed along easily and finished my piece on time. I’ve been working with charcoal for a few years now and still managed to pick up a few helpful techniques from Joel. It was nice to relax, create and work in the comfort of my own studio.

Great workshop! Joel shared all of his tips and techniques, showing his unique process from start to finish. As someone who has tried to master charcoal on canvas, without much success on my own, I greatly appreciated the insights he shared. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves charcoal and would like to move from paper based work to canvas.
